Rwanda’s vending machine market is emerging, driven by consumerism and lifestyle changes. Existing imported models are costly, lack security, and fail to adapt to Rwanda’s rural context. Traditional designs provide limited payment methods and insufficient protection against tampering.

This study proposes a security-enhanced, intelligent vending machine capable of:

Sending real-time alerts during tampering or relocation
Supporting seamless mobile payments through integrated tablets
Offering web-based analytics for inventory and sales optimization
